It seems crazy that I have been here 3 weeks already. This past week went by so fast, and the weeks to follow are going to go by even faster, especially now that routines have set in. I am definitely ready for it to start getting warm out again. Normally if I was at home the weather would be normal or even somewhat nice out, but now that I am used to the weather here it is absolutely freezing out! After all this talk all week about snowing it finally actually did. Snow in London is much better than snow in Illinois, and it was perfect packing snow, perfect for a snowball fight! I loved being outside while it was snowing and seeing the way everyone was acting because of it. I am so used to it so it’s a typical thing. I still find it somewhat fascinating how people react when they find out I am from the states or how much they like my accent.
A few times this week I actually got asked by people directions to somewhere. And I was actually able to tell them where to go. I like that I am starting to actually look and act like a Londoner, at least enough where people are asking me for directions instead of the other way around.
Over the weekend I went out in Camden Town. I really liked it. It was a lot different from other places I had been. There were a ton of people out and a lot of the people that were out were close to my age. It’s always fun going into random pubs, especially ones that younger people go to, it makes it easy to meet people besides the ones you see every day.
